5 Reasons To stick to God’s Promises

The List of God’s Promises to Us is Endless if we Obey his Precepts

God is good all the time, and all the time God is good, wow! God promises to bless us if we follow his commands. Every promise has a command; but his love for us is Unconditional yet His Promises have a condition that attached to it…! Confused? Then Find out more….

I give you 5 Reasons to stand on God’s Promises below

#1 “You will experience all these blessings if you obey the Lord your God: You will be blessed in your towns and in the country. You will be blessed with many children and productive fields. You will be blessed with fertile herds and flocks. You will be blessed with baskets overflowing with fruit, and with kneading bowls filled with bread. You will be blessed wherever you go, both in coming and in going. The Lord will conquer your enemies when they attack you… And the Lord will bless everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain.” Deuteronomy 28:2-8 (NLT)

#2 If God has promised you something, rest assured it will come to pass if you too play your part! From Genesis to revelations the great men and women played their part even when their lives were down in the dumps and God turned things round for them. God’s plan for us is a Great one according to Jeremiah; its a plan for our Good welfare, a plan for happiness, joy, peace and glory to the glory of His name. What God is thinking for you, No one can stop it if you but believe and live a righteous life according to his Commands as Jesus prescribed. Jesus made the 10 commandments much simpler, summed them up in one word “LOVE“! You know God promised Canaan to his chosen nation Israel (We remember “Israel” arose from Jacob’s divine encounter with God) and God’s Promise to Abraham to make him great and all nations and families of the earth through him!And God delivers. While Moses lead Israel all through the desert, due to his disobedience and allowing the people’s opinion to matter, God didn’t let him see reach the promised land, rather Joshua inherited God’s promise to Moses Joshua 1:1-3 (NIV)

#3 For any Parent who wants their children to be blessed, this one is a no brainer: God’s blessing can be passed on to generations. You can create a legacy based on God’s promises. “After Abraham’s death, God poured out rich blessings on Isaac.” Genesis 25:11 (NLT) You see God’s instructions to Abraham were “… leave your country, your kindred &  father’s house to a land I’ll show you. And I will bless you. Those who bless you I will bless and those who curse you I will curse…” Wow what a powerful promise! And as descendants of Abraham through Christ Jesus we inherit the very same promise, People of God, its time we stood on these promises by living our lives as God planned for us, and these blessings shall be ours to tap into at will! Remember every promise has a condition! God did test Abraham a test most parents would walk away from and refuse to even take the first step! I mean which parent would want to sacrifice their own child, yest Abraham was willing to do this in order to bring to bear God’s blessing on him & his family and God did bless him! But lets take a step back, God’s promises to us today are based on Him sacrificing his only son Jesus Christ, so we may live a life full of peace, abundance, joy, perfect health, freedom…! Isn’t God amazing…for his grace is more than sufficient and thats another of his promises, that any child of God stands on with sheer faith is never left alone! John 6:48

the promises of God#4 He is the  bread of life…Wow ! Through him we have life eternal. He has promised to supply all our needs and his mercies endure forever! I can tell you today that I know without a shadow of a doubt that God has my back always for the list of His promises to me are endless, and all of God’s promises are good! All I have to do to Understand his promises is to read the word! Its beautiful, it gives me hope, it gives me joy, it lifts up my spirit…How about you? God promised me that as his child I will not be overtaken by temptation. See what he did for Daniel…Daniel 6:16  (NIV)

#5 God promises to bless my life always, If I am generous too. “A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.” Proverbs 22:9 Many of us walk past need staring us in the face, and we then wonder why our blessings do not manifest! We must help others in need, especially the poor. “God blesses those who are kind to the poor and helpless. He helps them out of their own troubles. He protects them and keeps them alive; he publicly honors them and destroys the power of their enemies.” Psalm 41:1-2 In fact God Promises to keep the wealth of the sinner for the righteous Proverbs 13:22

God promises that we will never be put to shame nor perish. No one will snatch us out of the hand of God. John 10:28 . So can I just encourage you to focus on the promises of God and let your praise and worship go higher. This particular post by Rick Warren lists God’s Promises of blessing to his people in such detail I encourage you to read it and take heart. One mighty man of God indeed states that God never promises and fails and I totally agree with him on that.  You must possess your possessions, your giftings, your anointing, that fresh oil, fresh doors must open, breakthroughs all you have to do is Focus on the promises of God and Conform to his Precepts, and He will confirm it for you! As for me and mine we are always standing on the promises of God!

May God’s Promises to Abraham manifest in Your life and may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forever more. I as always leave you with a List of wonderful promises from God under Psalms 23.
